Episode #241: Younger Dryas Impact - The Evidence

George Howard, member of the Comet Research Group and owner/operator of the excellent Cosmic Tusk website, joins us this week to deliver a presentation he gave at the recent WorldViewzMedia conference in Sedona.
In this presentation, George lays out the evidence for the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis as an explanation for the massive changes that took place on Earth at the onset of the Younger Dryas period, just before the beginning of the Holocene.

Many of you will be familiar with much of this information, but there's always something new to learn about this fascinating period in Earth history, and George delivers the information with style, as always.

Episode #147: Splash Chevrons and Effortless Power

Russ is sick this week(not with Covid19, don't worry), so we had to put the Gods of Eden book report on hold because Russ can't read when he's sick. (Well, really, it's just hard to talk so much with a sore throat).

So instead we have Chris Cottrel from The Dabbler's Den on for a segment to talk to us about a new and fascinating idea that he and Antonio Zamora have been working on, related to the Carolina Bays,  called "Splash Chevrons". Chris shows us some of the LiDAR images he has been looking at that show these features(if you want to see the images, you can check our YouTube Channel for the video for this episode, as we did record video during the interview with Chris),  and we talk about what they might be.

We also have on our good friend Brendan Lea, who some of you may know from recent emails to the show about "nothing". We talk with him about his work with world champion martial artist Peter Ralston, but we talk not about "fighting", really, but something much deeper about the nature of reality itself and what that means(or doesn't), because part of the training he has undergone with Peter is about having an "enlightenment" experience of something absolute, and that changed his life and his entire outlook on reality itself.

We hope you enjoy this show, and the book report will resume next week!

Episode #107: Dabbler's Den

We are joined by Chris Cottrell, the man behind the Dabbler's Den, to talk about his ongoing research into the Carolina Bays, the Younger Dryas, and the possibility of a large oblique impact into Saginaw Bay in the Great Lakes region.

Chris gives us the rundown of the work of Antonio Zamorra and others who have done work on the Carolina bays and what they think may have caused this enormous field of geomorphic features in the landscape of the eastern seaboard of the United States. He also gives a great(and terrifying) minute-by-minute description of the catastrophic event that resulted in the Bays, and what it would have looked like from the ground.

Enjoy!

Episode #101: North American Catastrophic Geology

We have a fantastic chat with Tom, a fellow CAC attendee, who has followed Randall Carlson's work for years and brings a unique perspective to the study of catastrophic geology in North America.
His decades of experience working as a scientific glass blower and seeing the patterns and reactions of molten glass to various stimuli have led him to a new way of analyzing very large patterns in the geology around certain areas of North America. We talk about his ideas and vision on this subject, and much more!

Enjoy!

Episode #078: George Howard

We have a very special episode for all you snake sibs out there, we interviewed Mr. George Howard, who has been involved with the Comet Research Group from the very beginning in the work on the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis, which we have spoken of many times in previous episodes. George gives us all kinds of insider insights on the evolution of the hypothesis over the years, leading up to and including the recent publications on the Hiawatha Crater in Greenland, and where he sees the research going in the future and how this new data might affect the "standard model" of human development.

George also sets the record straight on the attempted character assassination of Dr. Allen West, discusses the Carolina Bays, the Alaska Muck, and at least once refers to skerptards as "skerptards".

Follow George on Twitter @CosmicTusk
and at his website and blog, The Cosmic Tusk.

Enjoy! (we certainly did)

Episode #075: Greenland Crater - What Does It Mean

We talk about the Greenland Impact Crater in the first segment and what that means for the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis and the history of the human race in general. We read select sections from Graham Hancock's book Magicians of the Gods regarding unexplained and highly scientific artifacts on the Altiplano around Lake Titicaca including the megalithic sites of Tiahuanaco and Puma Punku, anomalous advances in agriculture from thousands of years ago, and the Aymara language itself appearing to have been constructed instead of arising organically.

In the final segment we go through some of the really astonishing astronomical, biological, and philosophical correlations contained in ancient metrology, ancient structures, and mythology, respectively.

Respect.

Episode #052: Dolmens and the Wielders of the Shamir

Russ starts the show with a fantastic headline from the Flat Earth Society and then proceeds to flip out about aptronyms. Kyle then reads an article that points out that humans can live on Mars provided they are in space suits.

We then turn to the topic of dolmens, the fact that over 90,000 of them have been found around the world, they are precisely engineered, are of uncertain age, and have no known function. We(mostly Kyle) gives several possibilities as to the function of these mysterious ancient constructions.

After explaining that we'd love for people to help us pay to go get lost and die, we wrap it up with an overview of the picture of the ancient world that we have been outlining throughout the past 52 shows.

Thanks for sticking with us this far, and enjoy the show!

Episode #010: The Enuma Elish and The Sphinx Controversy

We dedicate this show to questions, comments, emails, catcalls, and heckling from listeners who just want us to slow down, chill out, and explain some things in detail, because we're always referring to these things but we've never actually explained what they are.

So we try to do that.  Kyle does an excellent job despite constant interruptions from Russ, while Russ does a terrible job despite zero interruptions from Kyle, and in this way we go thru the Sumerian "creation myths", the erosion patterns on the Sphinx enclosure, and the catastrophic end of the recent ice age. Kyle ties all of these things together into a gigantic fucking conspiracy while Russ makes ominous sound effects

Also, bananas are---once again---not discussed.
