Marty Garza and Chuck Kizina join us for this episode, discussing their observations and speculations from the Egypt trip.

Marty, who has been on the show many times for the UFO episodes, has decades of experience with engineering from his years in the Monster Truck industry.
Chuck is a geologist by education, specializing in planetary science, and has a lot of experience in stone cutting and shaping.

We turn once again to Egypt and Ben's excellent footage and photos to look at the Valley Temple on the Giza Plateau, and the Osereion, as possible examples of megalithic structures showing different stages of construction, possibly built at very different times. Again, it is in the details that really interesting possibilities about these structures come forward, and we take a close look at these details on this episode.

Episode #179: George Howard - The Cosmic Tusk in Egypt

George Howard joins us once again on the show, this time to talk about his recent trip to Egypt with Ben from UnchartedX. We talk with George about his impressions of the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the Osireion, the Bent Pyramid, the unfinished obelisk, the Temple of Hathor, and of course, the Serapeum and the enigmatic stone boxes inside it. George tells us about the somewhat harrowing experience of descending over a hundred feet into a narrow shaft to see other granite boxes beneath the Giza plateau. We talk about George's overall impressions of the constructions he saw, and about the possibility of some of the objects being "precursor" artifacts, surround by later dynastic constructions.

He has also posted a collection of over 500 images from the trip.

Aside from the conversation with George, we also open a bunch of 1-up boxes (it was like Christmas in the Tangent Cube), and we read articles about the re-discovered Dixon artifact from the Great Pyramid, papers showing that Issac Newton believed the pyramid contained ancient secrets about the Earth and the apocalypse, and that the modern Venus is like ancient Earth while modern Earth is like ancient Venus.

Episode #125: Serpent in the Sky - Part 3

After we catch up on space weather news and listener emails, we read an excellent article on an ongoing experiment to "domesticate" foxes, as remarked upon by many astute listeners in response to Russ talking about "no modern analogues" of animal domestication.

We were wrong, as we often are! But this story still holds interesting implications re: ancient domestication of animals.

After that, we dive back into the final parts of John Anthony West's "Serpent in the Sky", finishing up with the Sphinx, and finally reading about how skerptards are still skerptards and no one can seem to do anything about that.

Episode #123: Serpent in the Sky - Part 2

We continue our deep-dive into John Anthony West's excellent work, "Serpent in the Sky". In this episode, we finish with the main body of the book, but there are three appendices regarding the Sphinx, each written later in time as things developed. We are able to get through the first one, and partway through the second(which is about the arrival on scene of Dr. Robert Schoch), but even though we went a bit long, we weren't able to finish it or get to the third.

So the next episode will have the conclusion to this series.
